The Rift has many doors.

Some open to places you should never step into.

This one opened to the Grey Spire.

The building shouldn't exist — it pierces the clouds, its upper floors vanishing into the crimson haze above. The concrete is cracked like dried bone, and its windows are black holes staring back at you. The air hums with a low, mechanical heartbeat.

Inside, an elevator waits, its doors already open as though expecting you. The floor panel is wrong — no numbers, only shapes that twitch when you look at them too long. Yet, when the doors close, a harsh light flickers on above: "Floor 1".

A voice crackles over an unseen intercom. It's calm, almost kind, but with something cold beneath it.

"Ten floors. Ten questions. Ten chances to rise… or fall. Time is not your ally."

The elevator lurches upward. Somewhere far above, Floor 10 waits.

You have no choice but to start climbing.

Rules

The Rift has always whispered of the Glass Spire — a tower older than the world itself. No one remembers who built it, but everyone remembers the way it swallows those who try to climb it. Its mirrored walls twist your reflection into shapes you've never made, and its floors shift like a puzzle with a mind of its own.

You step inside.

The door seals behind you with a sound like cracking ice. The first chamber glows with a pale, unnatural light. There is no staircase — only a voice that seems to come from both everywhere and inside your skull.

It asks you a question.

It promises that if you answer, a path will open.

If you fail… you will stay here. Forever.

The voice tells you there are ten floors. Ten riddles. Ten trials. You must start from the bottom — Floor 1 — and climb upward in order. There is no skipping, no bypassing, no trick to cheat the tower.

Each floor will greet you with a short vision — a glimpse of its strange world — followed by the question that guards the way forward.

If you speak the wrong answer, the voice will whisper the same hint again, as if amused by your struggle. It will wait. It will always wait. There is no limit to your attempts, but the tower remembers your hesitation.

You start with -floor 1 for the answer you will tell it -response [answer]

And continue on from there. answer the question right, …and the voice will answer. Climb. Climb until the mirrored walls show you something you wish you hadn't seen. Climb until the air tastes like glass. Climb until the top — if you can reach it.

The tower will reward the one who survives its tenth question. The others will remain here… watching their own reflection fade.
